Noosa Lakes Chalet (formerly "Noosa Lakes B&B Country Retreat")
provides cosy accommodation in a chalet-style home offering our now
famous German Country hospitality. Actually, your hosts, Sigrid & Otto Simon have been Australian residents
since 1981 when they migrated from Germany to Melbourne first and then to Noosa in 1985. Having retired from a hectic business life no B&B rather than just accommodation is offered nowadays.
Stay self-contained in a separate
studio adjacent to the main house or enjoy the home style comfort of
the double bedroom within the chalet.
Noosa Lakes Chalet is an idyllic and cosy home in peaceful bushland surroundings on the shores of Lake Cooroibah part of the Noosa River system.
In fact we offer the best of both worlds: 10 acres (4 ha) of a tranquil ‘hideaway’ opposite a National Park but very close and handy to bustling and cosmopolitan Noosa. Noosa has many great sand and surf beaches, National parks with rainforest, a picturesque hinterland with arts and crafts markets (eg. the famous Eumundi market) and the world heritage-listed Fraser Island is just another 70km further North.
Relax and enjoy the abundant wildlife and birdlife
We
have a lovely Golden Retriever dog and won’t mind if you bring your pet. This
needs to be pre-arranged, though. You can even leave your dog(s) behind in our kennel when you go out.
We also provide space with power for
campers/ motorhomes.
Most
of our guests leave as friends because of our relaxed attitude and old
fashioned country hospitality.
As
well seasoned travelers, we know what to expect on holidays and we are
happy to share our knowledge of this beautiful region.
